Femicide: A Complex Social Phenomenon

ABSTRACT

This paper illustrates how and why femicide is regarded as a complex social phenomenon. The author categorizes and examines violence at various stages of the life cycle of a woman and examines the same with a case, scholarly research, and studies conducted by various organizations. This paper gives a broader perspective as to why femicide is a challenge and tries to frame a systematic perspective to analyze the community that has catered to such violence.
