ABSTRACT
This systematic study endeavored to explore the men’s experiences regarding domestic violence against them in developing countries and emphasizing the forefront rising cases of intimate partner violence against men. The research material was gathered from a academy databases, including Europe Cross Meta, Directory of Open Access Journals (DOAJ), PubMed, and Google Scholar. In the material selection process, articles selection based on quantitative data with a publication timeframe was from 2014 to 2024. Ultimately, the analysis incorporated finding from 12 studies involving 20,371 men from developing countries. The result includes that prevalence of domestic violence against men ranged between “14% to 78.9% in developing countries. This comprehensive analysis sheds light on a prevalence, factors and consequences of domestic violence, with a particular emphasis on the profound effect on the mental and physical health of male victims. The study addresses an urgent and often overlooked issue that persists within modern society, highlighting the need for increased awareness and intervention.
