ABSTRACT

Since language is an organic subject, its meaning is ever-expanding and evolving, hence it lacks the mathematical precision of mathematics. As a result, a contract must always be read in light of its origin and context. The problem of contract interpretation is made all the more fascinating and complex by these astounding truths about the language. The court system, legal procedures, and conflict resolution systems are all inextricably linked to artificial intelligence (AI), as AI has been permeating more and more aspects of daily life.

INTRODUCTION

The legal system and many aspects of life have been significantly impacted by technology. The "justice delivery system" is one significant area where technology is heavily involved and yet has a lot of space to grow. The Supreme Court of India and other Indian High Courts have previously accelerated court operations through the use of technology. Technology can be a valuable tool in India's efforts to address the issue of a large backlog of cases. For example, data analysis enabled decision support systems for managers, robots carrying out repetitive tasks, and so on. About forty years ago, the focus of artificial intelligence (AI) was on machine learning (ML), which enabled business intelligence capabilities to optimise operations and maximise profit. Now, with more advanced technology, AI has expanded its service area to several other disciplines, including contracts and contracting.
