ABSTRACT

This paper focuses on the fundamental right to strike. This paper aims to discuss strikes as a fundamental right. The paper has pointed out the laws for strikes in India, the USA, and the UK and also the international instruments available for strikes. It also covers the role of the judiciary on strike. The paper targets the troubles faced by the workers when there is no right to strike. Thus this paper stresses the Parliament to give strike a status of a fundamental right.
